Payment is due at the visit. We provide a detailed receipt with everything your extended health plan needs, to submit to your plan.
Most plans already cover this
Chiropractic care is covered by most extended health plans, including the plans many federal public service employees and students have. You do not need to sort anything out before you book.
If you want to know your exact coverage, logging into your insurer's portal is faster than calling. It takes a minute, and most people are surprised by how much they have, for chiropractic and for other providers too.
Worth knowing: most plans run January to December and unused coverage does not carry over. Later in the year that can mean several visits still covered before the end of December.
We give you a detailed receipt after every visit, which you submit to your plan yourself.
What is and is not covered
Chiropractic services are not covered by OHIP. Most extended health plans include chiropractic, and many include acupuncture under a separate limit.
If X-rays are needed, we refer you to an imaging clinic just around the corner. For Ontario residents with a valid Ontario health card, there is no charge for X-rays. Visitors from outside Ontario may need to pay for X-rays.
